Practice Update: Welcoming Our New Audiologist

Dear Valued Patient,

I am delighted to share some exciting news with you regarding the future of the practice.

From 1 May 2026, I will be welcoming Marica Groenewald as the audiologist who will be taking over the day-to-day running of the practice. Marica brings with her over 20 years of experience, both locally and internationally, across private practice and corporate settings. Her depth of knowledge, clinical expertise, and patient-centred approach make her an exceptional addition to the practice.

Marica will be continuing with all aspects of our services, including:

  • Hearing assessments and hearing aid fittings
  • Auditory processing assessments and training
  • Ongoing patient care and support

I am confident that you will find her to be highly skilled, approachable, and deeply committed to providing the same level of care and professionalism that you have come to expect.

While Marica will be managing the daily clinical operations, I will remain actively involved in the practice and will be available one day per week. This transition allows me to expand my work in other areas of audiology that I am deeply passionate about, including community-based initiatives, research, and the training of audiologists, all of which ultimately contribute to improving services for patients like yourself.

This is a very positive step forward for the practice. It allows us to grow, strengthen our services, and continue delivering high-quality, evidence-based care, while also contributing more broadly to the field of audiology.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you sincerely for your ongoing trust and support. I warmly encourage you to continue your journey with us and to extend the same support to Marica as she steps into this role.

We are truly excited about this next chapter and look forward to continuing to care for you.

Warm regards,

Heidi Allan
(Audiologist)

What Our Patients Say

{

Heidi is incredibly knowledgeable and very professional. She is fantastic with kids. My son had a 2 hour appointment and was more than happy to do all the tests. She is kind and explains everything in so much detail. She really takes her time to make sure all your questions are answered. She is passionate about her work. I cannot say enough good things.

My family and I have been clients of Heidi’s for many years. We have always found her to be so friendly and helpful and I have referred many friends to her. All the staff are so professional and kind when dealing with one that a visit to Heidi is always such a pleasant experience. Heidi is also extremely generous in that she assisted my mother who is 93 to get a refurbished hearing aid as a gift from her “heart.” Thank you Heidi for helping us out even during Covid. Best wishes for the future.
